Long time no post!

I can't believe its already September! and i haven't posted for 2 months, anyway here are some drawings i did a while ago, they were for a competition to illustrate Angela Carters "The Bloody Chamber" alas i did not win but at least i can put them up here, the book is a collection of short stories so the illustrations are for two of the stories in the book, the first is for the bloody chamber the second Puss in boots which makes me want to try and do more print designs.

I read Wu ch'eng-en' Monkey a few months ago and really didn't like the cover design, it looked like a chick lit cover with faux chinese font and if it hadn't been a present i don't think i would've picked it up( i really judge a book by its cover) so i have made my own,  It shows the stone egg that monkey is born from.

Thought i should upload a new drawing! this is just a idea for some drawings i'm working on for a competition to illustrate Angela Carter's The bloody Chamber, I am planning on winning! i am a massive fan so i think its probably fate my fingers and toes are crossed anyway!
